Dinner for Dragons is an important fundraiser every year for St. George School in Hermann, Missouri. Classes donate items every year for attendees to bid on for silent auction. Some class items that sold well were blankets, photographs, and yummy treats like muffins, pie, and granola. Several students donated large items, like planters, cutting boards, and seating, that are bid well on during the live auction. “All of the money raised goes to bigger or better things for the school, like the turf on the Dragon Park,” said Kallie Witthaus, member of the Long Range Planning Committee. St. George school would like to give a special thanks to Peoples Savings Bank for the large donation of $4500 dollars to the school, and a special shout out to the Jonesburg table for supporting the school year after year along with all of our other guests who choose to attend and contribute to the event. Hope to see you there next year.
