On September 18, 2025, Catholic schools in the Diocese of Jefferson City received an out-of-uniform day (OOU) for a donation of $2.00. The money raised went to the United Way of Central Missouri. The United Way is a non profit organization that works for health, education, financial stability, and basic needs for every person in Central Missouri. Principal of St. George School, Amy Schebaum, said, “I think that a few of the older students know a little about the United Way. I think it would be great if there was a little more information about the United Way that we could give to students.” St. George School raised $324 for United Way in Jefferson City since there is not a local United Way, according to Mrs. Schebaum.
